Grammar concepts will be introduced as needed. In addition, we will use BJU spelling to supplement our study. Two novels will be read over the course of the year (in class) to teach the basics of understanding literary concepts. Penmanship and the introduction of cursive will be included as time allows. 20-30 minutes of homework on non-class school days. Note: Reading and phonics skills will not be a primary focus of this class.
