11th & 12th Grade Schedules 2026-2027

High School Course Information

Course Information: Some classes meet both days per week, and some classes meet only one day per week. Tuition for classes that meet two days per week is $450, and classes that meet one day per week is $225. (Book/supply fee of $100 per class; no other class fees. 10% discount for full-time enrollment.) Most classes will have 20-35 minutes of homework per school day.

9th/10th Grade Literature & Composition: This class meets on both Wednesdays and Fridays, and is for 9th and 10th graders. Students will continue to improve their writing skills, will learn Greek and Latin roots for vocabulary improvement, and will refine grammar skills. This class will focus on writing papers, but students will also read and discuss novels over the course of the year and will learn and discuss literature concepts and terms.

10th/11th Grade Literature & Composition: This class meets on both Wednesdays and Fridays. and is for 10th and 11th graders. On Wednesdays, students will focus on writing skills, grammar usage, and Greek and Latin roots for vocabulary. On Fridays, students will focus on reading and analyzing good literature.

11th/12th Grade Literature & Composition: This class is for 11th and 12th graders, and meets on both Wednesdays and Fridays. Students will read different works of literature and complete writing assignments about their readings.

(English grade levels explanations: To accommodate student schedules in math and other classes, there is flexibility in the English class enrollment. Students in the same class, but in different grade levels in school, may be assigned different levels of homework as necessary for everyone to be learning as much as possible.)

World History: This class meets on Wednesdays only.This class will cover World History up through the present day, using Notgrass’s textbook Exploring World History.

US. Government: This class meets on Fridays only, and is for 10th-12th graders. This class will cover U.S. Government.

Theology 2: Apologetics and Worldview: This class meets on both Wednesdays and Fridays, and is for 10th-12th graders. This class will introduce students to common worldview topics like epistemology and the problem of evil. As we study our world and its cultures more deeply, we’ll learn Biblical approaches to affirm what is good in our cultural fabric and to confront what is disordered. 

Chemistry: This class meets on both Wednesdays and Fridays, and is for 9-12th graders. In this high school course, students will learn Chemistry concepts and applications, and will complete labwork.

7-12th Grade Strategy Games: This class meets on Wednesdays only, and is for 7-12th graders. This class will offer students the chance to play board games and strategy games with one another. The games will be educational or strategic in nature, and will reinforce deduction skills, and other educational concepts in a fun environment.

7-12th Grade STEM Activities and Building Projects: This class meets on Fridays only, and is for 7-12th graders. This class will be hands-on STEM Building projects.

Electricity: This class meets on Fridays only, and is for 9-12th graders. This class will cover some basics of Electricity and Electrical currents.

Algebra 1: This course meets on both Wednesdays and Fridays. For any grade student ready for Algebra 1.

Physics: This course meets on both Wednesdays and Fridays, and teach Physics concepts. For any grade student ready for Physics.

Geometry: This course meets on both Wednesdays and Fridays, and will cover concepts in Geometry. For any grade student ready for Geometry.

Math Help Hour: This course meets on both Wednesdays and/or Fridays, and is open to any student in 7-12th grade. Because there is such a variety in curriculum and student placement, it can be hard to choose a math class, though math help is needed. As such, this class is available to provide math tutoring in a small group environment. This class is for students at all math levels and curriculums, and provides an opportunity to receive help from a math expert. You can decide whether you’d like your student to be in this class one or two days a week.

7th-12th Grade Art:Fundamentals of Drawing: This class meets on Wednesdays only, and is for 7-12th Graders. Drawing is a stand-alone art form and can be considered the first phase of most artistic disciplines. If drawing realistically or just gaining more control when drawing is of interest, this class would be a good fit for middle schoolers and high schoolers. Even though this is a fundamentals course, there will be art pieces produced that students can be proud of. 

7th-12th Grade Art: Multiple Mediums: This class meets on Wednesdays only, and is for 7-12th Graders. Students will get hands-on experience in four different mediums throughout the school year.  They will have time to learn the medium and produce an art piece in each type.  Acrylic Painting, Clay Sculpture, Charcoal Rendering and Paper Quilling are the four mediums that will be covered in the '26-'27 school year.  

9th-12th: Art Studio: Students will get hands-on experience in four different mediums throughout the school year.  They will have time to learn the medium and produce an art piece in each type.  Acrylic Painting, Clay Sculpture, Charcoal Rendering and Paper Quilling are the four mediums that will be covered in the '26-'27 school year. High schoolers can also do independent Art projects during this hour, wherein they will be given freedom to pick their own subjects and set their own deadlines under the watchful eye of an instructor who can help refine ideas and push them creatively.  Students will have access to various media including water color, acrylic paint, clay, plaster, alcohol ink, charcoal and more. 

Art: Inks: This class meets on Fridays only, and is for 9th-12th graders. This class will learn different methods of printing with inks, as well as how to make inks.
