11th & 12th Grade Schedule 2025-2026

11th/12th Grade Course Information

 

Course Information: Some classes meet both days per week, and some classes meet only one day per week. Tuition for classes that meet two days per week is $450, and classes that meet one day per week is $225. (Book/supply fee of $100 per class; no other class fees. 10% discount for full-time enrollment.) Most classes will have 30-60 minutes of homework per school day.

10th graders who are interested in these classes are also welcome to enroll in these classes, if they’re a better fit than the 9th/10th grade options.

 

11th/12th Grade Literature and Writing: This class meets on both Wednesdays and Fridays. Students will continue to improve their writing skills, will learn Greek & Latin roots for vocabulary improvement, and will refine grammar skills on Wednesdays; students will focus on literature, primarily poetry, on Fridays. Fulfills one unit of English Language Arts on Transcript.

 

11th/12th Grade Logic and Public Speaking: This class meets both Wednesdays and Fridays, and will be for 11th and 12th graders.  Students will learn classical logic skills, along with public speaking skills. Fulfills one unit of English Language Arts, Public Speaking, or Elective on Transcript, or 1/2 unit of two of those options.

 

11th/12th Grade Theology: This class meets on both Wednesdays and Fridays, and will be for 11th and 12th graders. This class will cover all the topics of classic systematic theology, including the doctrines of God, Man, Sin, Redemption, and Last Things using Everyone’s a Theologian, by RC Sproul. Fulfills one unit of Social Studies, Religion, or Elective on Transcript.

 

Algebra 1: This course meets on both Wednesdays and Fridays, and will use Saxon Algebra 1, which thoroughly teaches Algebra 1 concepts. For any grade student ready for Algebra 1. Fulfills one unit of Math on Transcript.

 

Algebra 2: This course meets on both Wednesdays and Fridays, and will use Saxon Algebra 2, which thoroughly teaches Algebra 2 concepts. For any grade student ready for Algebra 2. Fulfills one unit of Math on Transcript.

 

Algebra 2.5: This course meets on both Wednesdays and Fridays, and will use Saxon Algebra 2, which thoroughly teaches Algebra 2 concepts. This course will begin in the middle of the Algebra 2 book, and it is designed for students who have started Algebra 2, but either did not make it all the way through the book, or who did make it through the book, but who struggled and could use another year before moving on to Pre-Calculus. The instructor is an expert at explaining math concepts clearly and patiently. Fulfills one unit of Math on Transcript.

 

Pre-Calculus: This course meets on both Wednesdays and Fridays, and will use Saxon Advanced Mathematics, which thoroughly teaches Pre-Calculus concepts. The instructor is an expert at explaining math concepts clearly and patiently. For any grade student ready for Pre-Calculus. Fulfills one unit of Math on Transcript.

 

Science Experiments: This class meets on Wednesdays only, and is for 8-12th graders. This class will learn about how to conduct science experiments and present scientific evidence. Students will have a science fair presentation. Fulfills 1/2 unit of Lab Science on Transcript.

 

Art I: Introduction to Media: This class meets on Wednesdays only, and is for 6-12th graders. This class will cover an introduction to different art media. Students will learn fundamental art concepts. Fulfills one unit of Fine Arts on Transcript.

 

Art: Advanced Drawing: This class meets on Wednesdays only, and is for 6-12th graders. This class will cover drawing and rendering with an emphasis on realism. Students should have taken at least one other art class before taking this class. Fulfills one unit of Fine Arts on Transcript.

 

STEM Activities and Building Projects: This class meets on Fridays only, and is for 8-12th graders. This class will be hands-on building projects, mostly STEM-related. Fulfills 1/2 unit of Lab Science on Transcript.

 

Art: Textiles: This class meets on Fridays only, and is for high schoolers. This class will cover textile art – sewing, weaving, and other textiles will be explored. Fulfills one unit of Fine Arts on Transcript.

 

Latin I: This class meets on Fridays only, and is for high schoolers. Students will learn first year Latin. Students should expect to complete one hour of homework per day. Fulfills one unit of Foreign Language on Transcript.
